Abstract

For the Republic of Belarus the energy problem is always relevant; of current interest, as the country has almost no reserves of fuel minerals resources. In average the country consumed energy equivalent to more than 30 mln. tons of standard fuel, annually and only about 15% is covered by its own resources. Every year more than 3 bln. US dollars are spent from the national budget for the purchase of the missing energy and electricity, which is more than 30% in the volume of total imports of the republic and makes our economy vulnerable and dependent on external suppliers.
