The numerical model of the joint work of borehole heat exchanger and evaporator of the heat pump is developed. The design of the evaporator is shelltube heat exchanger with segmental baffles with a boiling in the U-shaped tubes. The design of ground heat exchanger is heat exchanger with two U-shaped tubes, which are arranged in a vertical borehole. The effect on the system temperature of soil, the multiplicity of circulation in the evaporator heat exchanger, the filler of borehole is modeled by the developed model.

Demand for vanadium and its compounds grows: vanadium compounds are extensively used in various industries. Vanadium compounds extraction from industrial wastes is more cost-effective than from natural raw materials. In Belarus, sludge from thermal power plants and wastes of sulfuric acid manufacturers are the sources of secondary vanadium-containing raw materials. Vanadium-containing wastes generation and accumulation in the territory of the Republic of Belarus for recent years are analyzed. The article demonstrates that the development and implementation of recycling procedures for these wastes will resolve environmental problems and save valuable substances not common in nature but applicable in industrial production in the Republic of Belarus.

In the work various directions of use of galvanic manufacture waste have been investigated. As a result of their analysis and experimental data the conclusion is drawn on impossible application of sewage deposits of galvanic manufacture as the additive for concrete mixes making due to their ecological danger. However, the given sewage deposits can be used in manufacture of a ceramic brick and colour glaze under condition of the obligatory ecological control of finished products. It is preferable to apply these deposits for colour glazed coverings as it is possible to substitute pigments by manufacture waste. It is also perspective to extract metals from sewage deposits of galvanic manufacture. Realization of the named directions will allow us to turn the given waste into valuable secondary raw materials, to expand an industry raw-material base, to lower negative influence on environment.

The electrochemical oxidation of Cr (III) is of great importance in many electrochemical productions. One of the most common anodic electrode materials for this process is PbO2, due to its high corrosion resistance in acidic media at high anodic potentials. In this paper, the rate constants of the anodic reaction of oxygen transfer in Na2SO4 and H2SO4 solutions containing Cr3+ at the volume-doped electrodes based on PbO2 were estimated by using a rotating disk electrode.

The article presented a feasibility study of application of the developed constructions of untwisting devices in cyclone apparatus: blade untwisting device and the untwisting device with stream recirculation, allowing substantially to reduce pressure drop and promote efficiency of catching of dispersible particles. The calculations of economy of energy and money facilities are resulted at cleaning of gas in cyclones with the developed untwisting devices. Application in the most widespread cyclones CN-11 and CN-15 blade untwisting device power inputs on clearing 1,000 m3 gas decrease on the average on 0.25 and 0.15 kW · h, and using of the untwisting device with recirculation of a stream – on 0.2 and 0.11 kW · h accordingly. The term of recoupment of additional expenses on an untwisting device will make less than year.

The hydrolysis process in Al3+ – Mn2+ – NO3 – – H2O system has been studied by potentiometric titration and dialysis methods. The experimental data have been obtained under the following conditions: metal ions concentration – 0.01 mol/l, molar ratio Al3+ : Mn2+ = 1 : 1, ionic strength – 0.3 mol/l (NaNO3), temperature – (25 ± 0.1) °C, pH-range – 1.7–4.0. The distribution of different Al (III) and Mn (II) forms depending upon pH value of the solution in the sphere preceding hydroxidic precipitatin fall out has been calculated. It has been established that ions Al (III) form homopolynuclear hydroxocomplexes. Heteropolynuclear hydroxo-complexes of Al (III) and Mn (II) have not been found.

The effect of composite anodizing electrolyte with reduced content of organic acids on the formation rate, structure and properties of aluminium oxide film was studied. It is established that for the production of electronic devices structural parts of improved insulation properties it is preferable to use the solutions where less active citric acid predominates. It has been shown that kinetic retardation of specified anodic process of aluminium oxidation increases the density of barrier oxide while preserving the rate of main porous Al[2]O[3] layer growth.

The analysis of existing reference data and the experimental nature of dependencies of the equilibrium conditions for the determination of absorption and desorption processes in the NH3 ? water and SO2 ? water systems was carried out. During reference data processing calculated dependences to the description of equilibrium were obtained. The deviation of the values obtained for the given dependences of the reference does not exceed 5.4%. Recommendations on the use of dependencies in engineering calculations are given.

The composite sorbent, including an active inorganic component (alumosilicates derived from claysalt slimes) in the quantity of more than 80 wt % and the polymer binder (polyacrylamide) was obtained. The influence of various factors on its sorption and mechanical properties were studied. It is established that the content of polyacrylamide in the composite sorbent should be in the range of 10–15 wt %. It is shown that quasi-equilibrium of 137Cs in the system “sorbent – solution” is reached within 80 min. The distribution coefficient (Kd) is 2.4 ? 104 cm3/g. The obtained data of kinetic parameters (diffusion coefficient and during sorption half-time) show that the received sorbent can be referred to sorbents with high rate of 137Cs sorption.

The foaming agent effect of different chemical nature (pine oil, T-66 reagent, alcohols, kaprol) on the phosphate flotation by carboxyl collectors was investigated. It was established that the main flotation concentrate yield, the flotation rate and extraction of useful components (P2O5) in the foam product increases during the phosphate flotation by tall oil in the presence of pine oil or hexyl alcohol with increasing its consumption.

A short characteristic of new type of foreign dental cements Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) for root canal dressing is presented. The results of experimental researchesdealing with the development of the composition and method of producing of the national dental cement of the similar purpose. The effect of modifying additions (CaF2, P2O5, Bi2O3, MgO) on the sintering process of clinkers was studied and the demonstration of metastable paragenesis in the of solid phase interaction in the system CaO – Al2O3 – SiO2 was found. The obtained results provide more reliable designing of the mineralogical composition of cement clinker.

The article presents the results of inventory of galvanic sludge and deposits of the treatment facilities, formed at the enterprises of The Republic of Belarus. The analysis of the presented information has revealed that, despite an existing system of the account of wastes, formed at the enterprises, there is a discrepancy of the declared kind of waste and the actually stored one at the industrial object’s territory. It is connected, first of all, with the long period of accumulation and storage of wastes of galvanic manufacture, during which there occurred a work reprofiling at the enterprise, a change of technological processes of galvanic manufacture, a change of the proprietor, a loss of documents and etc. Besides, while storing of sludge and deposits of galvanic manufacture sewage, there often occurs their predrying that changes mass of a waste. Such state of affairs causes the necessity of detailed inventory of the accumulated wastes, more precise definition of its structure and quantity

In methylacrylate production liquid wastes containing considerable amounts of sulfuric acid and organic compounds are formed. Neutralization of sulfuric acid and removal of organic compounds from the effluent water are the essential phases of ammonia sulfate preparation. Methods of purifying waste water formed in methylacrylate production are proposed. Waste water purification is performed by oxidation, floatation and extraction. Combining several physical and chemical methods the most perfect purification is attained. By removing organic impurities from waste water high grade ammonia sulfate may be obtained as by-product.

The article presents the results of the work on lanthanum excretion from spent petroleum hydrocarbon cracking catalyst by mineral acids processing. Methods of receiving lanthanum compounds in the form of insoluble compounds (carbonates and hydroxides) from acid extracts have been validated. The experimental data characterizing the structure and properties of the received sediments, and allowing to prove the possibility of using spent cracking catalyst as raw material for obtaining rare-earth elements are given.

Chemical and phase composition, dispersity of slurries formed during reagent treatment of waste water by using lime and caustic soda are investigated. The properties of suspension on the bases of the slurries, in particular, viscosity, flowability, sedimentation velocity, final volume of sediment are examined depending on the method and producing conditions of the sludge. It is shown that builders make it possible to adjust rheological properties of the sludge suspensions. Features of the slurries preparation for processing in the technical materials are analyzed.

We consider the phase separation in the suspension krupnodispersnoy tsenrobezhnyh strength of the vortex chamber. The mathematical model and studied the hydrodynamic characteristics of gas flow, a film of viscous liquid on a cylindrical permeable surface of the swirl chamber and the motion of solid particles. In a cylindrical coordinate system to obtain an exact self-similar solution for the radial and tangential velocity components of the liquid phase because of its tangential stresses for a given friction at the interface and the pressure of the gas stream. The article deals with the results of studies on elimination of the negative impact of fine slime on the process of phosphate ore flotation. For this purpose it was proposed to carry out phosphate desliming by flotation method using non-ionic surfactants as a reagent-collector, as well as by phosphate ore separating in the strong magnetic field. The results of experiments on the flotation of the initial phosphate ore with particle size –0,16 mm and a non-magnetic fraction of the ore, selected after the separation of ore in a strong magnetic field, show that the flotation of non-magnetic fraction occurs much more efficiently than the original ore flotation.

As a result of researches movement of air with firm particles in a new design of the two-level gravitational qualifier is simulated. Cross-section-line character of movement of air and firm particles in the device is investigated. Influence on resistance of the qualifier of average in relation to crosssection section of speed of air and frequency of rotation of a separating wheel is investigated, at approximation of the received dependences by a square parabola value of factor of resistance is received. The boundary size of division of particles is calculated at modelling of classification of quartz sand and compared with results of experimental researches. Satisfactory convergence of settlement and experimental values is received. The developed model can be used for calculation of process of classification of loose polydisperse materials.

The influence of the production conditions of magnesium hydroxide on its composition, in particular the content of the non-structural “superstochiometric” water, which can be localized in the interlayer space of the layered structure. The conditions of generation and formation of the magnesium hydroxide crystal structure of brucite (nemalite) type, containing up to 8 wt % “superstochiometric” water, which is removed by heating up to 300–350?C. Observed the formation of basic magnesium carbonate using distilled water containing dissolved carbon dioxide. When used distilled water containing dissolved carbon dioxide, magnesium basic carbonates are formed.

Praseodymium, lanthanum indates solid solutions Pr[1–x]La[x]InO[3] were synthesized by ceramic method for the first time. It was found that in PrInO[3] – LaInO[3] binary system there was a continuous range of praseodymium-lanthanum indates solid solutions Pr[1–x]La[x]InO[3] with the structure of orthorhombically distorted perovskite. Thermal elongation of synthesized samples was investigated in 400–1,120 K temperature range. Сomplex thermal analysis of the samples synthesized was carried out up to 1,273 K. Temperature dependences of relative elongation had no anomalies due to the phase transitions and using these dependences average linear coefficients of thermal elongation were calculated by leastsquares technique. On the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) curves for all the samples investigated no thermal effects were observed.

The article deals with the construction of gas distributor for the mass-transfer columns, particularly for packed columns. Review and analysis of existing inlets of gas (steam) flow into the column were performed and methods of its even distribution on the cross section. The article presents the results of the uniform distribution of the gas flow along the cross section of the column and the hydraulic resistance for different gas distributors. It was established that the new design of the gas flow distributor has a low hydraulic resistance and distributes the gas flow along the cross section of the column.

Pigments for corrosion-resisting paint and varnish materials were synthesized. Physicochemical properties (water solubility, oil-absorption power I and type II, pH of the aqueous extract) of the obtained pigments were determined. Corrosion stability of the synthesized pigments are studied by electrochemical method (in sodium chloride NaCl solutions). It is established that the pigments are cathodic corrosion inhibitors. Corrosion current density decreases by 2–3 times and protective effect of 37–68% is observed in the suspension of synthesized pigments in a solution of sodium chloride.

A method of sodium sesquicarbonate (Na2CO3 · NaHCO3 · 2H2O) producing by polythermal crystallization from the saturated solution at 100°C which contains NaCl, Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 at the molar ratio Na2CO3 : NaHCO3 = 2 : 1 is developed. It is shown that the product of the crystallization represents large crystals of lamellar shape with the length up to 2 mm. Functional scheme of production of Na2CO3 · NaHCO3 · 2H2O based on recycling of mother liquor and mixing with washing water is developed. It allows increasing the product yield from 54.7 to 74.3%.

In article results of a grinding such differing on the ability for grinding materials as a chalk, kaolin, amorphous silicon oxide, in a spherical mill with a mixer are presented. In quality milling bodies of 2.8–3.0 mm were used pig-iron a ball in diameter. Speed of working body made 10 m/s. The initial fraction of 0.5–3.0 mm as a result of a grinding is finished till the final size 0.2–50.0 ?m. Approximately 80% of particles had the size less than 10 ?m. Dependences of efficiency dispersion from duration of influence for the different defining sizes of particles are received. Possibility of analytical representation of the total characteristic in the form of the equation of Rozina – Rammlera is shown.

The article presents the results on use of water preparation waste, namely the fulfilled ionites of KU-2-8 and AV-17-8 as a coagulant for purification of washing waters of iron removal stations. In this work the optimum dose of offered coagulants, degree of washing waters clarification, residual iron concentration in washing waters after 2 h of sedimentation were defined. Specific resistance to filtering of received deposit was also established. This deposit is suggested to be used for ceramic goods manufacture.

The method of determination of industrial plate-type heat-exchangers collector system hydrodynamic parameters is presented. Calculation dependences on the basis of comparative analysis results of tests of three groups of plate-type heat-exchangers is received. Every group included heatexchanger module and industrial heat-exchanger. The ceramics with Ba[1–x]Sr[x]Pb[1+y]O[3+2y] (x = 0.6, 0.8, y = 0.00, 0.10, 0.20) composition was prepared using solid-state reactions method and its phase composition, crystal structure, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and thermo-EMF was studied. The electronic and lattice parts of the thermal conductivity of ceramics were determined and its power factor (P) and figure-of-merit values (ZT) were calculated. It was found, that the best thermoelectric characteristics at high temperatures had the ceramics with composition Ba[0.2]Sr[0.8]Pb[1.1]O[3.2] (P1000 = 1.36 mW/(m · K2), but near the room temperature – the Ba[0.2]Sr[0.8]Pb[1.2]O[3.4] sample (ZT[423] = 0.033). On the basis of Ba[0.2]Sr[0.8]Pb[1.1]O[3.2 ](n-type conductor) and Na[0.55]Co[0.9]Ni[0.1]O[2] (р-type conductor) ceramics the prototype of the thermoelectric module was produced and its working characteristics (open-circuit voltage and power) at different temperatures were determined.

Using the complex model for the counter-current and cross-current movement of liquid and vapor phases it is demonstrated that the mass-exchange efficiency increases when the phase equilibrium coefficient increases and other parameters of the construction and the working mode remain unchanged. An equation relating the mass-exchange efficiency for the mixtures with the phase equilibrium coefficients equal to one and much higher than one is derived. This equation can be used for evaluation of quantitative dependence of the mass-exchange efficiencies on the phase equilibrium coefficient.

The method for the description of transport processes on the basis of the base patterns multifunctional software packages. The proposed method of analysis of thermal parameters of multi-contact heat exchange surfaces is presented based on the developed software package COMSOL Multiphysics computational pattern in relation to the actual geometry of industrial heat-exchange surface of the bimetallic sample. The practical applications of these model templates to improve the reliability of test results generalize heat exchangers and, consequently, reduce the time of their introduction into the market of power equipment.

Provides a model for the assessment of processes of heat transfer in the basins of excerpts of spent nuclear fuel, with various levels of flooding and the effects of evaporation. To heat flow due to surface evaporation can be significant (up to 20–30%) the amount of total heat sink and must be taken into account in the analysis of accidents and for the first time after unloading spent nuclear fuel from the reactor. The results of this work can be used to analyze the security of storage of spent nuclear fuel in some reactor basins excerpts.

It is established that application of pulsed electrolysis mode allows to increase the working current density up to 9 A/dm2. A nanostructured nickel coating with a maximum size of crystallites of 200 nm is obtained. The ceramic samples of the (Ca,Bi)3Co4O9+? were prepared using solid-state reactions and citrate methods. The influence of the preparation method on the crystal and microstructural, physicochemical and functional characteristics of these materials was studied. The temperature-time processing regimes of the (Ca,Вi)3Co4O9+? ceramics were selected. It is found that Ca2.8Bi0.2Co4O9+? solid solution, which was prepared by a citrate method, demonstrated the maximal value of the power factor (240 ?W/(m · K2) at 1,100 K) among the ceramics prepared. It is shown that citrate method has significant advantages in comparison with the solid-state reactions one because it allows to reduce energy consumption during the synthesis and at the same time to prepare more dense, fine-grained, and electrically conducting ceramics with a lower linear thermal expansion coefficient and higher power factor.

It is investigated how pressure losses in the equipment elements from the refrigerant side influence on the energy characteristics of the heat transformer. The results of cycle parameters with different refrigerants use are received. It is revealed that the irreversible loss cause negative impact on the regime parameters and should be considered in the design and selection of equipment for the heat transformers.

Process of electrochemical deposition of copper on a steel and iron substrate from citrate electrolytes was investigated. It is determined that the material of cathode greatly influences the kinetics of copper plating process. Influence of pulse electrolysis on a range of working density of current, a current efficiency of copper and porosity of coatings were investigated. It is determined that application of a pulse mode increases a range of working density of current and improves quality of the received coatings.

By using solid-state and sol-gel technologies solid solutions of the BiFeO[3] – LaCoO[3] system were synthesized. The parameters of their crystal lattice were determined. The temperature dependence of electrical conductivity and thermal expansion of the Bi[1–x]La[x]Fe[1–x]Co[x]O[3](x = 0, 0.05, 0.1, 1.0) samples was studied in air in the temperature range of 300–1,050 K. It was shown that the use of sol-gel technology reduces the temperature and the time of synthesis. The samples obtained by solid-phase method have lower coefficients of thermal expansion and specific conductivity.
