A theoretical study of the film movement of the liquid phase on the surface of a permeable cylinder under the influence of the mass forces of gravity and the swirling gas flow has been carried out. The differential equations of motion were determined for the first time, the exact solutions for the velocity components provided adhesion film on the surface of permeable cylinder and equality of shear stresses at the interface were calculated to determine the thickness of the film and its pressure on the cylindrical surface. Theimpact of the outflow of the liquid phase on the hydrodynamics of film flow was analyzed. The resulting mathematical model allows taking into account the hydrodynamics of the film during the filtration, separation and heat exchange processes.

Using colorimetry, turbidimetry, thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis and X-ray analysis the processes taking place at preparation of Ca3Co4O9+?ceramics by means of different methods were studied. The crystal structure and microstructure, thermal expansion, electrical conductivity and thermo-EMF of the samples were investigated and values of their power factor were calculated. It is shown that presence of solution stage let us obtain more dense and fine-grained ceramics, which characterizes more higher values of electrical conductivity and power factor.

Gd1–xLaxScO3, Gd1–xLaxInO3and Gd1–xLaxGaO3solid solutions were synthesized by the ceramic method, their crystal structure and magnetic properties were investigated. It has been established that the range of solid solutions Gd1–xLaxScO3(0.0 < х ?1.0), Gd1–xLaxInO3(0.2 ? х ?1.0) and Gd1–xLaxGaO3(0.5 ? х ?1.0) with the structure of orthorhombically distorted perovskite was formed. The effective magnetic moment of the Gd 3+ ion (µef, Gd 3+) for Gd1–xLaxScO3solid solutions with x= 0.10, 0.50 is equal to 7.76 ?В, 7.61 µВ, respectively and it is slightly lower than the theoretical value ?ef. theor, Gd 3+= 7.94 µВ, and for x= 0.75, 0.90 it is practically equal to the theoretical value. For Gd1–xLaxGaO3solid solutions with x= 0.8, 0.9 the effective magnetic moment ?ef, Gd 3+ is 7.90 ?В, 7.99 ?В, respectively, and it is close to the theoretical value 7.94 ?В. For Gd1–xLaxInO3solid solutions the effective magnetic moment ?ef, Gd 3+ varies without certain dependence in the interval from 6.91 ?Вto 7.54 µВand is lower than theoretical value ?эф. теор, Gd 3+.

In the article present the studies of water-reducing admixture sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium phosphonate and sodium polyacrylate effects upon rheological properties of the ceramic slip used for fabrication of flooring tiles. Availability use of complex dilutant contains sodium phosphonate and sodium silicates were shown. The optimal ratio of the water-reducing admixture components provided specified rheological properties of the ceramic slip was determined.

This paper presents an overview of galvanic production in the Republic of Belarus are considered employed in this production of water supply, as well as requirements on the quality of water for electroplating. Based on the analysis oftreatment facilities plating plants (sites) of the enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. It was found that as the mainwastewater treatment usedelektrokoagulation, reagent treatment, including the use of ferroferrigidrozol and galvanokoagulation. The basic shortcomings of existing treatment systems and provides general recommendations on improving the efficiency of their operation.

The paper presents methods for calculating the destructive capacity of grinding media contained in a planetary mill, the main types of deformation such as compression, impact and abrasion. The results of calculation for one complete revolution drove at different angular speeds grinding drum. The chemical and phase composition of products formed by interaction of liquid glass with 20– 80% H3PO4is investigated. It is shown that the products of the synthesis include hydrated silicon and phosphorus containing phases. The silicon containing phase is a mixture of amorphous silica gel and nonstoichiometric sodium silicates. The phosphorus containing phase is sodium hydrophosphate Na2HPO4· 12H2O. It is established that the crystalline phase is formed irrespective of a mixing method and acid concentration. It is suggested that the cause of formation of acid salt of phosphoric acid even at a large excess of water glass is replacement of protons H + of silanol ?Si-OH-groups of silicic acid by cations of Na + and formation of sodium silicates which act as a connecting bridge between adjacent globules of the formed hydrogel.

The article is devoted to researches in the field production of ceramic tiles for interior wall covering for single firing technology. The formation of ceramic crock is parallel with the fusing of the glaze by single firing, which causes the appearance of defects on the surface. The (Na,M)xCoO2(M= Li, K, Cs, x= 0.55, 0.89) ceramics was synthesized, and its phase composition, thermal expansion, electrical conductivity and thermo-EMF were investigated. The materials obtained were polyphase ones and theyconsisted of sodium cobaltite (?-NaxCoO2), Co3O4and of other alkaline metals cobaltites (LiCoO2, KCoO2, Cs2CoO3). The temperature dependences of electrical conductivity of the (Na,M)0.55CoO2(M= K, Cs) and (Na,M)0.89CoO2samples had semiconducting character, but (Na,Li)0.55CoO2ones had metallic character. The materials studied were p-type conductors, which thermo-EMF and power factor (P) values rose at temperature increasing, and values of linear thermal expansion coefficient varied within (11.1–14.9) · 10 –6 K –1 . Inserting into Na0.55CoO2ceramics the lithium or potassium oxides increased its power factor, thus, for Na0.28K0.27CoO2compound P1100= 361 ?W ?m –1 ?K –2 , which was 85% higher than for Na0.55CoO2.

Bismuth orthovanadate was synthesized by solvothermal method. Physicochemical properties (oilabsorption power of I and II type, pH of the aqueous extract, the particle size and density) of the pigment obtained were determined. Corrosion stability of the synthesized pigment was studied by electrochemical method. It has been established that the chemical compound concerned is characterized by low solubility and can be used inthe paint-and-varnish industry as a replacement for yellow leadbearing and chromate pigments.

High-coercivity ferrite samples Sr1–xSmxFe12–xZnxO19 (x = 0–0.5) with magnetoplumbite structure were prepared from oxides Fe2O3, Sm2O3, ZnO and carbonate SrCO3by solid-state ceramic method, the dependence of the unit cell parameters aand con the value of x was determined. It was determined that samples of Sr1–xSmxFe12–xZnxO19were single-phased up to x= 0.2, and also contained ?-Fe2O3for x ?0.3 phase, quantity of which gradually increased with increasing xup to 0.5, and small quantities of phases ZnFe2O4and SmFeO3were present in the samples with x= 0.4 and 0.5. The magnetic, electrical properties and thermal expansion of these ferrite samples were studied, the values of specific saturation magnetization (?s ) were determined by magnetic hysteresis loops at 5 and 300 K. It was found that the solid solution Sr0.9Sm0.1Fe11.9Zn0.1O19at 300 K has specific saturation magnetization (?s ) and coercive force (?Hc) respectively by 0.4 and 9.7% higher than the base ferrite SrFe12O19.

The article presents the results of the complex study of the physical, chemical and technological properties of the primary caolins from the «Sitnica» and «Dedovka» deposits enriched with the method of clarification. It has been stated that caolins having a particular degree of quality can be used for the production of ceramic tiles of various functions. The compositions of the masses for obtaining tiles for the internal lining of walls and for floors are recommended with partial replacement of the imported refractory clay and caolins for caolins from the «Sitnica» and «Dedovka» deposits with the correction of the quantity ofquartz-containing raw material.

The article focuses on the fact that the existing systems standard exergies chemical elements are not quite correct thermodynamically, the indicators that are negative values exergies nitrate salts and some other substances. The reason is that the three dominant components of the environment oxygen and nitrogen in the atmosphere and water in the ocean have thermodynamic probability of chemical interaction to form nitrate ion in the ocean. In this paper calculated the equilibrium contents of O2and N2in the atmosphere and the equilibrium concentration of NO3 – -ion in the ocean water, as calculated molar exergies O2and N2 and the air. Shown the air is the holder of the positive exergy and workability, and should not be regarded in exergy applications as ”gift resources”.

The article presents a new design of the direct-flow cyclonic dust collector for dry mechanical cleaning of the gases leaving the glass-worked furnace. Results of numerical modeling of aerodynamics, pressure drop and separation efficiency of the developed cyclone are given which application will provide catching of a sticking together dust with efficiency not less than 70% for particles with a diameter of 10 mm and more at the pressure drop not exceeding 1,400 Pa.

A method of flotation separation of a mixture of widely used polymers acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and polyamide was analyzed. The experiments were performed on a laboratory flotation turret with air aeration of the pulp. The formulas of key indicators flotation are presented. In this case, we obtained the dependencies of the concentration of surface-active substances, and the air flow on the purity concentration and extraction of float component. The optimal conditions for the flotation process of the polymer mixture were determined. It is concluded that the flotation separation of polymers based on their selective wettability is promising for the processing of mixed plastic waste.

The results of development of high-index glass for the products of ophthalmologic optics on the basis of the systems Li2O – RO – B2O3– SiO2and K2O – TiO2– SiO2are presented. It is shown that the formation of complexes [TiO4/2O] 2– K2 + in glass of the system K2O – TiO2– SiO2interferes with the formation of the chromophorecenters Fe 2+ – O – Ti 4+ and allows to receive colorless glass at amount of TiO2to 30 mol.%. The compositions of glass with a refractive index 1.65 and 1.70 at density no more than 2.91 g/cm 3 are developed. It allows to recommend them for the production of the facilitated lenses with a high optical force.

Electrodeposition of multicomponent nickel and/or cobalt alloys with nonmetallic inclusions from the complex electrolytes containing citric or malic acid was investigated. It has been confirmed that the decrease in the stability of metal complexes formed provides an increase in metal current efficiency. The use of malate complex electrolytes allows to diminish the effect of nickel and cobalt anomalous codeposition. Nickel-cobalt alloy electrodeposition fromcitrate electrolytes is accompanied by an overstoichiometric electrodeposition of nonmetallic components,phosphorus in particular.

The ceramic samples of the layered ferrocuprates Ln'0.5Ln0.5BaCuFeO5+?(Ln', LnLa, Pr, Sm, Gd, Yb) solid solutions were prepared using solid-state reactions method, and their crystal structure, oxygen nonstoichiometry, thermal expansion, electrical conductivity and thermo-EMF were studied. Ln'0.5Ln0.5BaCuFeO5+?oxides were found to be the p-type semiconductors. It was shown that structural characteristics, oxygen stoichiometry, linear thermal expansion coefficient and activation energy of electrical conductivity of layered ferrocuprates depend on sizes while electrical conductivity and thermo-EMF values depend on electronic configuration of REE cations in their composition.

A mathematical model of the motion of particles in a swirling upward gas flow, for the first time takes into account the concentration of the solid phase. The dependence of the axial velocity of the particle on the velocity of the carrier medium at different concentrations of the solid phase. It is shown that at low solids content (1–5%) relative to the carrier gas environment with unrestricted conditions, the influenceof neighboring particles on the trajectory can be neglected.

The method for removing moisture from the surface of the particles of coarse material by the action of high-speed vortex flow is proposed. In this way, particles acquire rotational motion with high angular velocity and moisture falling from the surface is picked up by the air stream and carried out of the zone of separation. A construction of the apparatus for carrying out the method is worked out, and the results of its tests to confirm the high efficiency ofthe developed method of dehydration are presented.

Solid solutions of BiFeO3– SmCoO3were synthesized by a solid-state method. Peculiarities of the influence of isovalent substitution of Bi 3+ and Fe 3+ ions in BiFeO3by Sm 3+ , Co 3+ ions on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of Bi1–xSmxFe1–xCoxO3solid solutions are found. It is shown that the substitution 3-25% of the Bi 3+ , Fe 3+ ions in BiFe0O3by Sm 3+ , Co 3+ ions results in the gradual destruction of the antiferromagnetic and conception of ferromagnetic ordering. In this case replacing up to 10% of Sm 3+ and Co 3+ ions in SmCoO3by Bi 3+ and Fe 3+ ions leads to the stabilization of Co 3+ ions in a diamagnetic state.

A model for estimation of heat and mass transfer processes in the basins of the extracts of spent nuclear fuel from NPP reactor VVER-1200 with varying degrees of filling is presented. For the calculation of transport processes in the racks of basins of the extracts the porous body model is proposed, which allowed carrying out a model description of complex constructions. It is shown that excessive tight pack of “fresh” spent nuclear fuel can lead to a significant temperature rise of the spent nuclear fuel. According to the results of numerical simulation, the filling levels of spent nuclear fuel do not exceed 20% for “fresh”fuel.

The process and composition of heat treatment of products of galvanic slimes which have different qualitative and quantitative composition of chromophore determining components are studied depending on the heat treatment conditions. It is established that the heat treatment of the galvanic slimes under different oxygen concentrations in the gas phase and chromophore determining compounds leads to the formation of a number of phases of variable composition in the form of oxygen solid solution in different modifications of iron oxide ?magnetite Fe3O4, maghemite ?-Fe2O3and hematite ?-Fe2O3. It is shown that crystal structures of solids with well-defined arrangement of atoms retain stoichiometry only at a certain partial pressure of oxygen on the step of slime heat treatment. This pressure is a function of temperature. The formation of ferrite products determines the color of pigment-filler and content of water-soluble substances.

Solid solutions of BiFeO3– PrCoO3system were synthesized by means of the solid-state reactions method using bismuth ferrite, BiFeO3and praseodymium cobaltite, PrCoO3 precursors. The temperature-time synthesis regimes of the precursors and the solid solutions were selected. The crystal lattices parameters of the solid solutions of Bi1–xPrxFe1–xСоxО3composition (x= 0, 0.2, 0.5, 1) were determined. The possible mechanisms of formation of the solid solutions from the precursors were proposed.

In the Republic of Belarus a potential source of vanadium-containing secondary raw materials is vanadium-containing sludge generated by the combustion of fuel oil in the boiler units of power plants. Vanadium concentration there is ten times greater than its content in the traditional ore raw materials. The total number of vanadium-containing sludge on the territory of the Republic of Belarus for the beginning of 2012 wasdetermined. Methods of vanadium-containing compounds extraction from vanadium-containing sludge ThPS were developed with the use of hydrometallurgical method. The methods influence of the vanadium-containing compounds extraction from sludge of ThPS on their composition and amount of extraction was studied.
