Abstract: The object of the research is the advertising slogan. The subject of the research are linguistic means of expressiveness in English- and Belarusian-language advertising slogans. The aim of the research is the analysis and identification of most widely spread means of expressiveness which are used in advertising slogans in English and Belarusian, and which provide the memorability of slogans.
