| Abstract: | The use of woody biomass is essential for the efficient production of thermal and electrical energy. However, the use of wood fuel with high moisture leads to significant energy costs for its evaporation. As a result, the energy content of such fuel is lower. For effective use of wood fuel it is necessary to provide an acceptable level of its moisture and other qualitative parameters. In the article modern approaches to wood fuel pricing based on moisture and energy content are given. |
