| Abstract: | The relevance of the topic “Colours in the English idioms” is beyond doubt. Idioms are an integral part of any language. They reflect everythingthe history of the country, the history of the language, various cultural phenomena and the attitude of the speaker to them. Basically, idioms are expressions that are natural to native English speakers. You can`t literally translate English idioms into another language. English movies, videos, books in the original contain idioms. Speech using English idioms becomes more beautiful. Knowledge of English idioms fully helps to enjoy reading original English texts. |
